Do you know what legislation regulates exploration activities in South Africa? Do you what responsibilities the legislation places on you as a supplier, manufacturer, contractor or geologist? Do you know what your liability is?

If you are involved in the exploration industry, you should know the answers to these questions. However, legislation is complex and not always easily accessible, so, we have developed a course to provide people involved in the exploration industry with a working knowledge of the legislation that is applicable to exploration activities.
In particular we examine the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996, its origins, structure and the sections and regulations that apply to exploration activities.
